GSPBlogs.com was started in 2007 by Philip M. McDonnell after working with a rescue group that wanted to keep a blog of all their dogs in foster care. “What a great idea” Phil thought, so he started this site to allow any GSP rescue group to use.

This site is a labor of love for Phil and whoever has helped him. Everyone has donated their time and services to allow this site to be born. GSP which stands for German Shorthaired Pointer is a breed of dog. Phil had a GSP for over 13 years before she passed away. He raised her from a puppy and watched her grow into the beautiful dog that she was. If you look at the top of our site you will see her (Sassy).

This site is dedicated to Sassy and all other GSP’s.
