I’m not sure about this dog bed….

That’s better!

No dogs on the couch?! What do you mean? I belong up here!

I’m not a stray no more!!

These two pups really enjoy playing together! It only looks and sounds like fighting some of the time.
I’m cute! Yes, really cute! Don’t you want to come meet me? All of us are cute!

Since Morty is sick, he hasn’t been very active, but every once in a while he’ll have a short burst of energy that sends him dashing around the yard.

Morty is feeling better now that he’s on the road to recovery! He has kennel cough and is pretty thin, but it’s nothing a little TLC can’t handle.
The puppies are getting ready to be spayed and neutered this coming weekend. Wow, time really flies, seems like they just arrived!
10/24/07 - Pixie’s been adopted! She’s settling in at her new home with her pointer brother.

Pixie is doing great! As you can see she loves her Duck toy, and is putting on weight. She has now met several children and is very gentle with all of them. When they pet her head, she is calm and sweet and quietly snuggles into their hands. She wasn’t nervous at all. She continues to make lots of friends at the dog park. She loves to race around with many different dogs and is a speedy little cutie. A great leash runner, she loves all the dogs she encounters while on leash, is calm and sweet around children and is a big snuggle bug when at home. She is doing great sleeping in her crate and is quiet and sleeps soundly until morning. She is not possessive over her food at all — she and my girl, Daisy shared a bully stick the other day — both chewing an end. Her little body curls up into a ball when she is tired and she loves to push her nose into your lap or even armpit where it is warm! She will make a great family dog.
Today was a beautiful day, and the puppies have begun interviewing their forever families. After their morning interview, and a nice lunch, the puppies had some time outside in the sun and in the shade to just romp around and play. Their foster dad made them a temporary playground on the lawn so they could enjoy the fresh air.
This toy is a little big for us, but I like it!
Hey, does that taste better than kibble? Maybe I should have some.
Ah, sunshine! It’s nice out here! I see you with that camera!
Everybody get a corner of this toy and pull! Come on!
Do you think if I work at this long enough I can get out?
Pic 2. As you can see, Pixie is a little on the thin side. She’s been eating and eating and eating since arriving in foster care, and is putting on weight. Pretty soon she won’t look so bony!
Nummy nummy!
This red bowl has the good stuff! Over here, everybody!
Wait, maybe there’s good stuff here, too.
Oh, no, they ate it all! There’s no more for me!
Let’s just double check and make sure we got it all!
