What a guy! He still thinks he is a lap dog and at his current filled out weight, it can be difficult! He has been pheasant hunting twice with Al. No birds, but a fantastic day in the field. He tracks, comes to the whistle, loves riding in the cab of the truck with Al. He also knows that treats are in the console. It is a mystery why he was given up, but we say "thank you" every day. He permanently came to live with us on that day. WE have a grandson named Hunter, therefore, since the fourlegged Hunter had been several places, Traveler seemed to fit. He never missed a beat with his new name. He share our home and life with two lab/golden crosses - a fluffy white female and a big, black male. He has a great nose and will point forever if he thinks there is a critter under our deck! We love him and think he is just a gorgeous mellow fellow.
