She’s a busy girl, checking out whatever might be back there! Look at those beautiful markings!

Is she cute, or what! She’s just arrived at her foster home after spending 5 days in the veterinary isolation room, possibly with distemper. She’s looking great and her appetite is good. She’ll need to be kept separate from the other dogs for a few weeks, and then she’ll be spayed and ready to go.
Well, today (5-16-08) marks two weeks with Vera, and she seems to have settled in quite well. Of course, she thinks she’s running the place, and to tell the truth, pretty much is. I’ve caught her climbing in the bottlebrush plant trying to get to the birds in the top, and when she gets excited she sounds like someone parked a car on her foot. She loves to sit or lay in my lap which is fun sometimes, other times, not so much. The recent hot weather has slowed her down a bit, but not all that much. I’ll get some more pics posted when I get a chance (should be soon).
Vera is a lucky girl! She gets to go on walks, to the dog park, and hang out! She’s found her forever home.
