NorCal GSP Rescue

Bowdie moved from Redding to the Bay Area this past weekend to stay with my mom, my brother(age 9) and me(age 12) until he finds his forever home. Today we took Bowdie for 2 walks. He did great on the walk! He doesnt pull although he pees a lot! He loves to be pet and is very friendly. If you stop petting him for a couple seconds eventually he nudges you with his nose for you to keep petting him! He loves playing fetch in the backyard with a tennis ball and sleeps with his stuffed monkey. Tomorrow we will post more along with pictures. He is a great dog and the family who adopts him will be very lucky to have such a great dog!

Ah, finally some sunshine!  Makes my whites look whiter, and my chocolatey liver oh-so-handsome!

See how nicely I sit now?  See how I keep an eye on you, out of the corner of my eye?

Bowdie is eager to please and has a great disposition!

Bowdie is a little skinny as you can see here, he’d benefit from putting on about 5 pounds, and his foster home is feeding him extra food.

Bowdie doesn’t bark unnecessarily.  He’s mellow and doesn’t jump or lick.

Bowdie has a keen sense of smell.

“It was a dark and stormy night . . “  Well, actually it was just a cold and drizzly northern California day.  Bowdie is getting settled in to his foster home, quite happy to be out of the shelter!
