Mitchell is a very loving baby boy, who loves to explore. Unfortunately right now his exploring is cut short due to a leg injury he needs to nurture, but he is healing up great. Other than his cast you would never guess that he had an injury, he is a ball of energy!!

Mitchell had an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon today, and relatively good news! There is a slight fracture and a partially torn ligament in his rear leg, but he will not need surgery. Instead, he will be in a cast for 4 weeks that will be changed weekly to accommodate his growth and to fit closely to his leg as the swelling decreases. Once his leg has healed, he’ll be ready to be neutered and find his forever home!

This little cutie has just arrived in his foster home. He’s 8 1/2 weeks old and needs surgery on one of his rear legs due to an injury. He has an appointment on Wednesday with our wonderful orthopedic surgeon. Then we’ll have a better idea of just what’s wrong and what can be done to help him.
He was actually able to carry this camera around!
But it wore him out and he had to have a nap!
