Penny
Penny has her eye on something over there!
This beautiful girl was returned to rescue because her adoptive family could not manage her exercise needs, and she had begun digging under the fence while they were at work. She’ll do great with an active family or individual who can give her the hour of daily exercise a young GSP needs.
Penny has been adopted to a wonderful home with two young boys, a young springer spaniel, and an older lab. She’s already helping the boys keep their rooms tidy - otherwise she steals their socks!
Penelope had her first trip to the river on Sunday. She loved the water, but we couldn’t let her off leash. She has poor recall, and would run off chasing dragonflies.
Penny got her staples out from her spay on Saturday. She’s feeling a whole lot better! We thought she was awfully mellow for such a young GSP…but that was then. Now she’s high energy and loves chasing birds and lizards all day.
