This is a four and a half week update on Tumbleweed’s surgery.
He is on the mend and walking flat footed on all four feet. We do four to five short walks a day. He is very interested in the birds that he sees on our walk. He is out of pain and has started to gain muscle.
T.W. has become friends with one of our cats. When they meet on the porch, T.W. gets very excited and runs his nose through the cat’s fur!
T.W. is a very loving and affectionate dog. After a walk, before returning to his enclosure, he carries my fuzzy slipper and requires hugs and kisses before entering his enclosure. T.W seems to be house broken as he has not had an accident in the house.
It has been a pleasure to care for T.W. He is a very personable and loving dog. He is also very patient considering that he is confined to a small enclosure. I know that he will make a great companion dog for someone!
