Some great information about Webber from his foster home:
He is so easy to have around! He is housebroken, and crate-trained. He also knows not to get on the couch, bed, or countertop (the closest he’s come has been nosing me at the dinner table!). He seems to love his crate (and willingly sleeps and eats there). He’s recovering from heartworms, but seems otherwise very healthy.
He knows basic commands but is getting a refresher, especially with leash training. He has a manageable amount of energy, and likes to play fetch.
Webber needs to lose about 5-10 lbs, but on the flip side, he’s very food-motivated for easy training. He’s currently 70-75 lbs and quite tall.
He gets along with all sizes of dogs, and didn’t mind when our dog snarled at him, but knew to leave her alone. He’s playful with other dogs, and apparently was trained not to play in the house.
No cats! He wants to chase them.
Other random things: He has not barked yet, even when our dogs start barking. Also, he likes to give kisses!
